Series Information

The Porsche Carrera Cup is renowned throughout the world of motorsports as the most competitive single-make, single-driver, sprint racing championship. Porsche Carrera Cup North America is one of 10 global Carrera Cup competitions. Inaugurated in 2021, it is a 16-round, eight-event, series that showcases the best driving talent via safe, competitive and consistent racing. Every round is a 45-minute sprint race so it is important for drivers to qualify well and race fast and mistake-free to obtain the top results. The stakes are high as at the end of the season, Porsche chooses drivers to represent the North America region in the annual Porsche Junior Shootout in Germany.

Multimatic placed Sebastian Priaulx with Kelly-Moss Racing for the 2021 season in order to give the young racer the opportunity to showcase his talent in an ultra-competitive sprint category. Driving the #15 Porsche, Priaulx took an astonishing 12 pole positions, six victories and seven further podium finishes on his way to winning the championship title.
