– Multimatic Motorsports celebrated its 20th anniversary with the largest racing program in its history,campaigning four cars in two classes of the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

– Multimatic Motorsports became an official partner to Aston Martin Racing, and debuted the Aston Martin Vantage V8 Grand-Am race car in the GS class. Scott Maxwell and Joe Foster notably finished second at Barber Motorsports Park and third at Lime Rock Park. Tonis Kasemets and Jade Buford earned a third place finish at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. All told, the Aston Martins earned five top ten finishes during the year.

– Multimatic Motorsports also debuted the turn-key Ford Racing Focus ST-R in the ST class, which is a racing version of the Ford Focus ST road car. The ST-R was under development during the year, and secured a respectable 5 top ten positions.

Joe Foster
Joe Foster has been racing professionally for over 25 years and has been competing at the top levels of American sports car racing since 1998. Joe has been successful in various forms of racing around the world from karting to Formula Ford 1600, Russell Mazda, Formula Ford 2000, British Formula 3, Motorola Cup, Grand-Am and ALMS.
Scott Maxwell
Toronto's Scott Maxwell has played a key role in Multimatic's greatest victories across the globe. His championship pedigree includes winning titles in Formula Vee (1984), Ontario Formula Ford 1600 (1985 and 1986), Canadian National Showroom Stock (1992 and 1993) and Grand-Am Cup (2002 and 2008).
Tonis Kasemets
Tonis Kasemets joins the Multimatic Motorsports Aston Martin Racing team for 2012, having forged a successful career in North American racing including Champ Car, Grand-Am and various open-wheel series. Originally born in Parnu, Estonia but now a US citizen, Tonis has entered over a hundred races and won 17 with 43 podium finishes.
Gunnar Jeannette
The son of experienced sports car team owner, restorer and team manager, Kevin Jeannette - Gunnar first drove a race car at aged 15 at a test session at Moroso Motorsports Park in Florida.
James Gue
A former karting ace, Gue is the son of experienced sports car team owner, Michael Gue. James started racing in go-karts in 1991, winning four Georgia state championships, capturing two national wins and winning the Skip Barber Karting Scholarship in 2001. James contested the Grand-Am KONI challenge from 2005-2009, and drove for Dempsey Racing in the Rolex GT class in 2010-2011. He has won five times and finished on the podium more than 20 times.
Nick Mancuso
Nick continues to move his racing career forward in 2013 by signing on to pilot the #16 Aston Martin Vantage V8 Grand-Am in the GS class of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge with co-driver Frank Montecalvo. Nick looks forward to the challenge of moving up a class in Grand-Am competition, and piloting the exotic British sports car in competition.
Bret Seafuse
Bret Seafuse joins Multimatic Motorsports in 2012 to contest the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge in the #16 Ford Focus ST-R alongside Nick Mancuso.
2012 Aston Martin Vantage V8

2012 Ford Racing Focus ST-R
Ford Racing entrusted Multimatic Motorsports again to engineer, design and develop their newest turn-key race car. The brand new Ford Racing Focus ST-R race car will compete in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Street Tuner class.
