– Multimatic Motorsports was enlisted to run Hyper Sport’s (now Dempsey Racing) Mustang FR500C entry in the Grand-AM KONI Challenge Series in 2008

– The year proved to be highly successful, as the team won the triple crown of Grand-Am racing (team, manufacturer, and driver championships)

– Drivers Scott Maxwell and Joe Foster clocked four pole positions and won twice (Mosport and Barber) on route to the Grand-Am driver’s crown.

Joe Foster has been racing professionally for over 25 years and has been competing at the top levels of American sports car racing since 1998. Joe has been successful in various forms of racing around the world from karting to Formula Ford 1600, Russell Mazda, Formula Ford 2000, British Formula 3, Motorola Cup, Grand-Am and ALMS.
Scott Maxwell
Toronto's Scott Maxwell has played a key role in Multimatic's greatest victories across the globe. His championship pedigree includes winning titles in Formula Vee (1984), Ontario Formula Ford 1600 (1985 and 1986), Canadian National Showroom Stock (1992 and 1993) and Grand-Am Cup (2002 and 2008).
2005-2009 Mustang FR500C
Multimatic engineered, developed and produced the Mustang FR500C race car, which won “triple-crown” (Driver, Manufacturer & Team) Grand Am championships in 2005, 2008 and 2009. This race car was sold through the Ford Racing catalogue and was built by Multimatic for customers contesting the Grand-Am championship as well as other international racing series.
