Date of Birth: February 28th, 1979

Sebastien Bourdais is one of the most successful ChampCar/IndyCar drivers of all time, having won the championship four times consecutively (2004-2007). Born and raised in Le Mans, France, Bourdais has also competed in Formula One (2008-2009) and in sportscar racing, competing numerously for Pescarolo Sport, and with Peugeot’s factory Le Mans effort.

Bourdais joined Multimatic Motorsports Team Panoz in 2006 for the 12 Hours of Sebring, winning the event with co-drivers Scott Maxwell and David Brabham. Sebastien also drove for Multimatic Motorsports at the Grand-Am 200 at Daytona the same year competing with his father Patrick – another Le Mans 24 veteran – in a Ford Mustang FR500C.

In 2016, Bourdais teamed with Joey Hand and Dirk Muller in Ford Chip Ganassi Racing USA’s #68 Ford GT to win the LMGTE Pro category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
