Nick Mancuso joined the Multimatic Motorsports team in 2012, having previously competed in the Star Mazda Championship and various other sports car series. Born on December 31st, 1986 in Lake Forest, Illinois, Nick has a wealth of motorsports experience despite his young age.

In 2007, Nick was named SCCA National Rookie of the Year competing in the Sports 2000 class. The following year he was chosen by Volkswagen to be a factory driver in the Jetta TDI Cup’s inaugural season. Nick competed in the Mazda MX5 Cup in 2009 as well as racing an Aston Martin DBRS9 in the Speed World Challenge GT class in select races. In 2011, Nick Mancuso signed with JDC Motorsports to contest the Star Mazda Championship. It was his first season of open-wheel competition, highlighted by six top ten finishes in seven races.

Nick joined Multimatic Motorsports to pilot the #16 Ford Racing Focus ST-R sponsored by Jimmy John’s with Bret Seafuse during the 2012 Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge season. Nick showed great on-track speed and helped develop the Focus ST-R into a competitive ST class car.

Nick continues to move his racing career forward in 2013 by signing on to pilot the #16 Aston Martin Vantage V8 Grand-Am in the GS class of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge with co-driver Frank Montecalvo. Nick looks forward to the challenge of moving up a class in Grand-Am competition, and piloting the exotic British sports car in competition.
